The founders of FBI, Dison and Wilson, met by chance when they were working in the same district. It wasn’t long before the friends found that they shared a common interest in tea, and soon started a journey of tea-sampling across Johor and other parts of Malaysia. Dison and Wilson soon realised that their love of tea originated not merely from a desire of taste, but also a shared appreciation of the status of tea within their Chinese heritage and culture.

No longer satisfied with just sampling tea, this mutual interest culminated in a trip to China and Taiwan where they learnt the art of tea brewing. It wasn’t long before they found themselves hungry for more than just personal enjoyment, and they decided to take their shared interest one giant step further by opening a tea shop, and that started their entrepreneurial foray into the world of tea.
